Today is Melbourne Cup Day and people say that it is the race that stops the nation it means everybody in Australia stops to watch the race . People can't choose who they want to win they have to do it like a raffle.

Jays last day party

Jay had his last day on the Friday 23/10/2009. We had a proper party the two only diffrent things we didn't
bring presents but we did bring party food unlike other partys. We had a cake that said Fairwell Jay 2bp.

Stand up for poverty

On Friday SJV went to the oval to stand up for poverty and we wore white. 45R told us somethings about poverty and then they sang a song and we joined in. Poverty means that people are poor and we need to help them.

45R also did an assembly about it and they sang the same song.

Plant Experiment

2bp are doing a plant experiment.My plant is called No light and Marcus and Patrick are in my group.Our plant is the tallest and it has the most shoots.Every afternoon we have unit work and you can eat it at a Chinese restaurant.Regular water is very green and tall.Good light gets the best light of all of them.

There are nine groups working on plants and no food + no water

+excellent food are not growing in fact excellent food are dead.

Ben Nichols and Ryan are in Regular water and have the second

tallest.

Book week parade

On Wednsday SJV had a book week day and the theme was Safri. At the biggning of the day everyone class had to get the mikerphone and told what they were. I was Voilt off Charly

and the chocolate factory. After we said what we were we went around and showed

what we were wearing. this was the order that it went in PT PM PC 1CT 1G 1T 2BP 2M 3W

3L 45H 45R 45D 67C 67K. Everyday of the week was a story about Safri and it wasn't on Saturday and Sunday.Mrs b went as Tashi and Mrs p went as Jack.

My holiday

SJV went on thier school holidays.I went to Burleigh Heads and saw Mrs P there.
We went to the beach everyday we were there.I went to my cousins house for sleep-over.
It was my Nanas and godmothers birthday in a row,my nanas birthday was on Wednsday and my godmothers on Thursday.
